
Eastern Times Correspondent, Dhaka, 23 December: Turkey has expressed its interest to sell defense equipment, including arms, to Bangladesh, in addition to investing in other large-scale projects.
Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, who is now in Dhaka, has already discussed the issue with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and his Bangladeshi counterpart AK Abdul Momen on Wednesday, reports Prothom Alo.
Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu made the disclosure at a joint press briefing in Dhaka this afternoon.
At he briefing, AK Abdul Momen said, “We are interested in enhancing bilateral relations with Turkey. We are prepared to work with the country.”
