Eastern Times , New Delhi : Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), protesting against the farm laws, condemned the anti-farmer statements made by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi saying that many laws have been made in this country without people demanding those and he has proved that the new agri laws have not been demanded by the farmers.
Contrary to this, the Centre is not serious on fair and genuine demand of “Karja Mukti; Pura Daam”.
While the round of Kisan Mahapanchayats continues against farm laws, farmers held panchayat on Shambhu border.
A massive rally was also organised in Jagraon of Punjab today in which farmers, as well as other citizens turned up for huge participation.
Addressing from the stage, the farmers’ leaders on the Singhu border expressed their views on the implementation of the upcoming programmes of the Samyukta Kisan Morcha where they voiced their opinion to oppose the proposal of the Haryana government to install CCTV on Tikri morcha.
Kisan Mahapanchayats will be organised nationwide in the coming days. The teams of the SKM are planning the programmes of the state-wise Mahapanchayats and it will not take back the protest until the three farm laws are repealed and MSP is legally recognised.
Mahapanchayats will be held in Bilari in Moradabad and PDM College Bahadurgarh Bypass Feb 12, Raisingh Nagar on 18, Sri Ganganagar Rajasthan on 19 and Hanumangarh in Rajasthan and Sikar in Rajasthan on Feb 23.
