Farmers will burn copies of farm laws in front of BJP leaders’ homes and offices

Brutal assault on farmers by Haryana Police severely condemned

Eastern Times, New Delhi : On June 5 last year, 3 anti-farmer and anti-people agricultural laws were brought by the central government as ordinances. Under the guise of Corona lockdown, the government imposed three laws on the people of the country, which were openly opposed by the farmers and common citizens.

There has been a massive protest against these agricultural laws and movement is going on for more than 6 months on the borders of Delhi. This movement has exposed the policies of exploitation of farmers and labourers and the corporate sided mentality of the government. There was a mass movement in 1974 under the leadership of Jayaprakash Narayan and other leaders against the fascist and exploitative attitude of the government of that time. On June 5, 1974, Jayaprakash Narayan gave the slogan of “Sampurna Kranti/ Total revolution” and in the end, the central government had to bear the brunt of it.

Samyukta Kisan Morcha will observe “Sampoorna Kranti Diwas” on 5th June in which the copies of agricultural laws will be burnt outside the offices and homes of the leaders of BJP and allies parties. In the absences of these leaders, copies of laws will be burnt in front of administrative offices.

This protest will be completely peaceful and there will be a direct warning to the central government that these laws are not acceptable to the people of the country.

On 6 June 2017 in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh, farmers were lathi-charged and fired upon protesting to put forward their basic demands before the government. In this, 6 farmers were martyred and hundreds were injured. After this incident, the farmers’ organizations of the country came together and the coordination of farmers was established across the country. Remembering all those martyred farmers, on 6th June, farmer leaders will gather in Mandsaur and will pay tribute.

Along with this, Samyukta Kisan Morcha appeals to all the farmers and citizens to pay tribute to the martyr farmers of Mandsaur and the martyr farmers of this movement on June 6 and take a pledge that the farmers will not be afraid of any police action and will fight till the end.

A temporary covid Hospital of Hemkunt Foundation, which helped in providing every necessary facility in the farmers movement, was attacked by some chaotic elements and destroyed the available health system. Hemkunt Foundation is a great source of humanity and is dedicated to humanity and people’s welfare.

This type of attack shows the cowardly character of anti-social elements. We strongly condemn this incident and appeal to the people to extend all possible cooperation and assistance to Hemkunt Foundation.

Farmers protesting against MLA Devendra Babli in Haryana’s Tohana were arrested by the police. Samyukta Kisan Morcha strongly condemns this and warns the Haryana government that all farmers should be released at the earliest and all cases should be withdrawn, otherwise, there will be a strong protest all over Haryana.
